Personality
Ian is a large, beefy, tough, bold, sarcastic, opinionated Alpha mule deer. He is something of a jock and constantly bullies Elliot for loving Giselle (whom he also loves). Because of this, Ian kicked Elliot out of the herd and ordered him to never return.
Being the Alpha leader, he easily intimidates the herd into submission, sometimes treating them like henchmen (at least before). Fed up with Ian's browbeating, the herd would love it if someone stood up to Ian as a "tough guy", but none of them will as they are truly afraid of Ian.
Ian has a tendency to rudely call Elliot "Smelliot" and a loser (or, as Ian calls it, a "loser-er"). As well, he jokes that Elliot isn't buck enough, saying that he is "half doe, half buck", to which he claims makes him a "duck". However, ever since he reformed, he now sometimes calls Elliot "Smelliot", though in a playful manner.
Appearance
Ian is a mule deer.

Trivia
- Ian is similar to Ronno from Bambi: He, like Elliot, loves Giselle and bullies Elliot. However, unlike Ronno, Ian redeemed himself.
